The Process The landscape study will describe and evaluate the various landscapes that make up the Wairarapa. The study comprises two parts: First, a description of the various landscapes and mapping of character areas and second, evaluation of the attributes of these landscapes and identification and mapping of important landscapes. ? Part 1- Landscape Character Description The objective of the character description stage is to provide a comprehensive description of the district?s landscapes to use as the starting point the second evaluation stage of the study.
